Customer Rating This is the finest book I have ever used to teach adults and even teenagers. It is a no-nonsense series that sends the person of average intelligence away from the first lesson playing with both hands. Not many piano tutors can boast this! The pieces are not always the most exciting but technique is built soundly and as long as the lessons move with pace can be completed within one year. Obviously it is necessary to off-set some of the work with lighter music and Bastien does recommend different books.
