Description
A simple straight-forward, fun system for learning to sight-read on the guitar.
Essential Skills For Sight-Reading Guitar
concentrates on rhythms and phrasings most commonly heard through decades of guitar playing. You'll begin to learn what you need to know, not everything there is to know. This book places a strong emphasis on reading rhythms because good rhythm is fundamental to music. The first section covers all rhythmic values and combinations. Next, melodic figures are presented in the context of scales and key centers. Over 80 examples are performed on the included CD.
