This book includes 31 songs from the famous "Porgy and Bess" opera american composers, George and Ira Gershwin. Already songwriters in high school, it's in the 20s that Ira and George make a name for themselves on Broadway, but separatly. It's only few years later that the brothers decide to write together. They wrote several musical scores including Porgy and Bess, An American in Paris, The Country Girl and The North Star.
