Description

World famous for their string rosin and orchestral bows Hidersine's first Violin is a fantastic quality starter instrument. The Piacenza is aimed at the discerning student and this outfit comes complete with case, bow, rosin and Thomastik Infeld strings. Not content to create a generic far-eastern violin, the experts at Hidersine have specified a well above average list of tonewoods, parts and accessories, not least of which are the Thomastik Infeld Vienna strings.

These are fantastic instruments for this price-range, with a clear, powerful, responsive sound, only very slightly harsh sometimes, but this can be remedied with different strings.

The wood is proper violin tone-wood, with a good flame and attractive varnish.

I have bought several for pupils, a couple of whom have even sold their £400-500 antique violins in preference for these.
