Description

Mason Williams emerged in the late 1960’s as a strong force in television and music circles. He is most widely known as composer and recording artist of mega hit Classical Gas which won three Grammy Awards. Recent honors include an Honorary Doctorate of Music from Oklahoma City University and in 2000 Mason was officially designated the Musician Laureate for the State of Oregon.

This celebratory folio features a bumper selection of the classical guitar star's all-time favourite arrangements and compositions. Not only does the collection offer some sumptuous solos for the accomplished classical guitarist, but seven further pieces have been included for guitar duet, guitar trio and guitar with flute or violin.

Every piece included in this anthology has been presented on an accompanying CD, performed by the man himself! Furthermore, fans of Mason Williams will be delighted to discover a biography of the virtuoso alongside countless details concerning his awards, performances, other projects, TV appearances and much more.
