Volume 1 comprises 3 of these 6 beautiful sonatas by Handel, which have been edited, with a realised keyboard accompaniment, by Erich and Elma Doflein. These sonatas can be played with a cello or viola da gamba continuo, or they can be played with a keyboard accompaniment. The solo violin and cello (viola da gamba) continuo parts are also included on separate inserts.
