Rating Review

Customer Rating This book introduces one new concept at a time in a logical order. It also starts with simple pieces for two hands, so that the right hand is never stronger than the left.

Customer Rating The Joy Of First Year Piano is an excellent initial piano repertoire and study book. It is crammed full of interesting pieces which cover all aspects of initial piano study; and a very shallow grading allows for students of varying abilities to progress entirely within this book. Its only drawbacks are that it has absolutely no graphics to engage the younger student and that it takes many students rather more than their first year to complete!
