Description
Saint-Saens’ The Swan, from Carnival of the Animals, is a beautiful tune which has become one of the world's best-known classical melodies: the movement is warm and expressive, evoking the gliding grace of a contemplative swimming swan. It was originally composed for solo cello, however has been arranged here for euphonium by one of the world's finest euphonium players, Steven Mead. This piece has been adapted for many different instruments, but is naturally suited best to those of tenor pitch, which includes the euphonium. This is a beautiful arrangement of the well known piece and is supported by a rippling piano accompaniment. Both the treble clef and bass clef euphonium parts are also included on separate inserts.
