Short Preludes and Postludes Set 2 Op.105 is a wonderful collection by important and influential British composer Charles Villiers Stanford. He started a renaissance of British music styles, composed prolifically and, perhaps more importantly and lastingly, he was the mentor to some of the most revered of 20th Century British composers such; as Bridge, Holst, Vaughan Williams and Butterworth.

Including a number of pieces based on themes by Orlando Gibbons, this 1908 work for Maunals and Pedals is a superb addition to any organist’s repertoire.
