Rating Review

Customer Rating This is a great music book! The selections are well composed, capturing the intended style of boogie or blues. The tunes are catchy as well. I find myself humming the tunes throughtout the day, and I'm eager to get back to the piano to play them! I am an older musician, returning to the piano, with rusty reading skills. The style of this music is really helping me regain those skills. It's much more fun than a method book. The selections progress in difficulty, introducing boogie and blues rhythms of increasing complexity. Even if your general piano skill level is higher than intermediate, this book would provide a great means to become acquainted with the boogie and blues styles.

Customer Rating A wonderful book, particularly for teens and adults. A great repertoire which my pupils love playing to their friends and family. The book has a good contrast of fast and furious boogie pieces paired with slower, soulful blues tunes. Intermediate skill level, around grades 4 - 5.
