This is a collection of six delightful canonic sonatas, composed by Georg Philipp Telemann and edited by Elizabeth de la Mare. As these canonic sonatas were originally written for two flutes or violins, this version for two cellos is therefore transposed down, for the most part by either a fourth or fifth. Each movement is in the form of a canon at the unison. The second cello part is also included on a separate insert.
