Customer Rating When I purchased this book, in Aug '09, shortly after I bought my first acoustic guitar, the shop owner told me it would take me about 8 months to get the through all the exercises.
I was skeptical as it is only 40 pages, but he was right. It covers things like open chords, simple chord progressions, finger picking, barre chords etc; no mention of string bending! I am quite content on putting in the effort as I feel I am getting more comfortable on the acoustic, but there is nothing here that isn't covered in any other guitar book, such as 'The Complete Guitar Player', which also teaches you songs.
The CD starts off with a short version of 'To be with You'; it's a shame that's just a demo and is not covered in the book.
