Description

Most guitar tutors give you exercises to improve your technique, but soon become dull and routine, but this pocket-sized manual approaches thins differently. It contains 120 graduated exercises, split into three sections: warm-ups, co-ordination and ear training. By choosing one exercise from each section at random every day, you can be sure of a consistent challenge.

Customer Rating For the few minutes it takes to complete each daily workout results are noticeable fairly quickly. A condensed practice routine with all the padding invariably found in weightier tomes ruthlessly stripped away!
Anon.

Customer Rating This is one of the most useful publications I have ever come across for the guitar. I first picked it up to build up strength and dexterity after a break from playing due to injury, and have used it ever since. Apart from a few scale/arpeggio based excercises for ear training, each exercise is based on a shape or pattern to develop the various different muscles for playing.

It is great for developing regular practice habits and getting you out of your warm-up noodling ruts! I have also used this book extensively as a reference when teaching, from beginner to advance level. I genuinely belive that this book has made me a better player.
