Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A beautiful book - it is as aesthetically pleasing as it is as a book of notated music.

Regarding the actual score - very clear text. The only problem is that glossy paper (albeit a very high quality paper) isn't the best for adding performance directions onto the score (fountain pens just won't work).

However, this may be a good thing, as the book will in turn be preserved for longer.

All in all, a beautiful book that is typically French in its' presentation (i.e. of a very high standard).

Although, after buying both Yann Tiersen books, i'm left wondering whether very close to £40 is value for 12 pieces of music - some very short pieces, it should be added.

I would rather if I could have purchased one book with all the pieces in it (and artwork, if the publishers deemed it necessary) for half the price.

It is with regards to the actual value for money that I have held back from giving the book 5/5.
