Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating An excellent edition of these rare but wonderful songs. The text for all these songs are taken from the poems of A E Houseman's Shropshire Lad. Two of the songs Bredon Hill and Is My Team Ploughing? are set in the more familiar work On Wenlock Edge by Vaughan Williams. The volume of songs numbers 11 which form 2 cycles A Shropshire Lad and Bredon Hill. The edition has a well written introduction by Peter j Pirie
Anon.
