Staff Reviews

Customer Rating This carefully compiled collection stands out for its mixture of instantly-recognisable classical works and popular pieces from the world of Film and TV. The term Chillout is often lent to music of a mundane and insipid nature, but certainly, in this instance, this is by no means the case. The highlight for me is Satie’s Gymnopedie No.1 – a timeless classic, and a precursor to the modern day ambient genre.

Customer Rating Bon recueil de divers partitions pour le piano. Le niveau est cependant inégal et surtout, on peut regretter que certaines partitions soient légèrement différentes de l'original (ex. Sarabande).

Customer Rating A lovely book to 'Chillout' to alone, and some well known pieces to play to an audience. A good buy.

Customer Rating I have only had this book for 2 days. The pieces are truly relaxing. The reason I give this 4 stars is that most of the pieces have been arranged. For example nearly half of Claire De Lune (the hard bits) is taken out which was quite disappointing. This book suits the grade 4-5 category.

Customer Rating I thought this book was excellent. The pieces range in difficulty, style and length so there is something for everyone!I would recommend this book to all pianists that enjoy just sitting down and playing a lovely tune!I find something new and exciting in every piece!

Customer Rating Fantastic collection of pieces. I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. I thought it might be a little boring and run-of-the-mill, but the pieces are very beautiful and from diverse composers (Bach to Sakamoto). I highly recommend it!
