Not for no reason did John Scofield give the author of this book a credit on his 80's album Electric Outlet. Remember, this wonderful book was written in the 60's but is still a fantastic source of inspiration for guitarists of all levels. I would also say the same for volumes 2 and 3. You cannot go wrong with this set!
