Rating Review
Customer Rating Steve Kaufman's a great guitar teacher - he's immensely talented but wears it lightly, and he's got the knack of imparting a good deal of knowledge in an efficient and easy to absorb way. He paces each lesson just right, building on beginner versions, rhythm backing, through intermediate and all the way up to the challenging advanced versions. He's got a nice dry sense of humour as well. This is the first of his 'Parking Lot Picker' series I've picked up (chosen for the songs contained on it) but it certainly won't be the last. One slight criticism - I'd have really appreciated a full rhythm run-through of all the songs on one CD (rather than scattered throughout the six Cd's as they are) so that I could sit down and play my newly-learned lead breaks over my own 'band in residence' without having to jump around the Cd's, but it's a minor gripe about an otherwise outstanding and highly recommended product.
