Description
Vivaldi's depiction of Spring, transcribed for Flute and Piano by James Galway. Spring has returned, all is gay and the birds sing happily. Fountains play in the breeze, constantly moving. Suddenly the skies go dark, lightening flashes and thunder roars. After the storm the birds return with their song, while on the flowered meadow the goatherd and his dog roam among the blosoming trees. Nymphs and shephers dance to the bagpipes under the beautiful skies of Spring.
