Whilst Hindersine may be acceptable for the beginner or those who simply need rosin for the sake of owning rosin (just another violin accessory) I think it is well worth spending more money on a better quality- different make of rosin. Hindersine chips easily and you could easily use the whole lot in a year, the dusting of the rosin is not as fine as it should be, and I recommend spening more for a longer lasting-better quality rosin than Hindersine.
