Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A wonderful collection of sophisticated cabaret songs. Written for a Mezzo, however, the Song of Black Max works well for the baritone voice with its undercurrent of death stalking the streets of Rotterdam.

Black Max is technically demanding but went down very well with an audience of singers and guitarists who appreciated the amount of effort it took to make it seem effortless!

Most have an unexpected twist that will leave your audience guessing to the last bars.

If a baritone is performing "George", falsetto will be required for the quotation from "Un bel di".

Rare to get such good cabaret material. Definitely 5 star material.
