Rating Review
Customer Rating What can I say? If you're starting out on metal guitar (or just need to brush up your metal skills) then this is a great book to buy. The songs at the end of each chapter, which also have backing on CD so you can play along, incorporate every technique you have learned and apart from using those techniques in songs the songs also help you stay in time. There are only two points I want to make (if you don't already know this) when playing the examples by yourself then use a metronome to keep you in time and also practice with the guitar on clean as distortion masks out any mistakes. When you've got the hang of it the ad distortion. All in all a great book, I'm of to get volume 2!

Customer Rating A fantastic book that has you making a hell of a noise in minutes. I've hardly been able to put it down. The format is easy to follow and you will learn basic rhythm patterns to use in your own songs. My one critisism is that in some cases an occasional diagram could have been more help full. - I'm off to buy the second one.
