Customer Rating This is an excellent book, always challenging, never boring, and bargain price for what you get. You learn far more than just metal lead. I bought this book years ago and still use it for practice sometimes - I'm here to buy volume 2!

Customer Rating An excellent package! This is a clear and concise method on the techniques of metal lead guitar. Each chapter covers different aspects of music theory and lead technique and at the end of each section is a solo that uses all the techniques you have just covered. Everything is explained clearly and with examples. The solos get harder as the book progresses. I am at an Intermediate level and the book has given me a few headaches I can tell you and I have yet to start vol 2.
