This set is based around a practice Chanter and Reed to help you to learn and develop the techniques and basic skills required to play this most symbolic and evocative Scottish instrument. Everything you need is in this great starter kit! The Beginners Piping Chanter Kit has been specially designed to introduce and give a newcomer to world of bagpipes the essential elements and basic skills and knowledge to start playing.
This practice chanter is a musical instrument in it’s own right which, when played, produces the same notes as those played on the Bagpipes. It will be of great advantage if not essential to begin your playing here before graduating to the bagpipes.
