Rating Review
Customer Rating A good tutor package, with a CD with full instrumental tracks on it. However, this is more of an advanced player's guide, as you need a decent single coil guitar and a good amp to get anywhere near Brian May's tone. Also the songs covered are not in their full entirety- as songs like A Kind Of Magic and Crazy Little Thing Called Love only cut in at around the first solos, skipping the first part of the song, leaving the guitarist to improvise. It can be tricky to get it to sound right, but all in all it's a good book as Queen's music on guitar tab is hard to find.

Customer Rating On the one hand this is a great book, because there's some great solos and riffs in the book.
On the other hand you'll have to have certain equipment at your disposal, such as the right guitar and the right amp, otherwise your playing just won't sound exactly like the Queen sound, which is a very unique sound.
That is one of the problems I had.
Another problem is that a lot of the guitar parts are multiple-guitar parts, making it hard to play certain parts on your own.
The last disadvantage is that this isn't quite stuff for beginners, but one could expect that,of course.
The good thing is,that once you get the hang of it,it's great fun to play.
Plus there's a good cd you get with the book.
