Customer Rating A very useful book covering Grade 1 & 2 scales with attractive tunes for each key - not too hard but with technical challenges along the way.

My pupils found fingering-charts really clear and helpful.

It would have been better to write out scale with separate bows first, then slurs.

Customer Rating A very useful companion to the more formal exam grade books. The fingering diagrams are very helpful and the associated tunes and exercises provide some fun and added interest for my pupils. There are some challenges too: harmonics are introduced on the very first page!

Customer Rating A really useful aid for the young player to help establish grade 1 and 2 scales. It is very user friendly with some good accompanying exercises that introduce technical features such as harmonics, string crossing, broken slurs,double stopping and tremolo in a very accessible way.
