The tunes are quite easy to pick up - I especially liked ‘I Say A Little Prayer For You’ and ‘Heard It Through The Grapevine’ which are also very good arrangements for alto sax and pitched in the right key. With this book you will learn to relax and not panic so much at what look like awkward rhythms - as the sound just seems to come naturally. This book is good for practicing various tone styles that you are thinking of adopting.

I have now bought several of these Guest Spot music books and I find them very enjoyable to use, I play alone, but with these backing track you really feel part of something much larger, they have helped to bring on my playing no end, even my long suffering wife agrees.

Great selection of songs-fantastic backing track CD to play along to. Have not been playing for very long, but this certainly is keeping me motivated and can play for a couple of hours!!
