Customer Rating The Rachmaninov Concerto No.3 is my favourite composition. I first heard this 50 years ago, listening to the radio one brooding summer evening. The performance was from the Proms and played by Cyril Smith. Since then I have loved the Rachmaninov concertos. I do not mind cuts made in this work, they can improve it.
A huge concerto, an emotional explosion, piano writing very logical (unlike the 2nd with its creative fingering). Not as difficult as is made out.

Customer Rating I love this piece of music. It is fiendishly difficult to play so working through it note by note but this is good as it helps you to understand how the concerto fits together. I will never get tired of hearing and playing Rach3, it is the best.

Customer Rating This is a well presented musical score, with nice clear print and directions. I love Rachmaninov's compositions, and this is a very stirring opening melody.
I do not have anyone to play the second part, so I pick and choose between the parts to keep the performance smooth.
Anon.
