Description

A terrific book of 20 modern studies for either Alto or Tenor saxophone. Each study deals with a particular aspect of rhythmic playing ranging from jazz, rock and funk to contemporary classical. They are moderate length in order to maximise concentration on style and interpretation and have also been compiled in order of difficulty to enable the player to better gauge their progress.

Selected as part of the ABRSM Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone examinations grades 4-6.

Rating Review
Customer Rating I think this is an amazing book for any saxophonist. The pieces progress starting at around grade 5 and are amazing, showing off skills such as glisses, lips and growls. Even if you do not have a piano accompaniment, the soloist will still sound awesome!

Customer Rating What a lovely book. This covers all standards from grade 1 to 8! And is used for most exam boards. A good enjoyable study for exams or pleasure playing.
