Rating Review
Customer Rating I'm an adult beginner and I'm finding this book immensely helpful as a first primer. It starts at the beginning with how to put your clarinet together and how to hold it and blow it. I found getting a note a real challenge at first.

My teacher has been going through the book with me and we've found it sets a good pace.

The CD is very useful. It's helped me to check my sight reading and it's great to be able to play along with it. I do find it tends to go at a slightly faster pace than I can manage sometimes.

The tunes are OK but not always the most fun. I've just got to where there is a frustratingly tiny snippet from Nessun Dorma! I've been using The Complet Clarinet Player Book 1 as a source of additional tunes.

I use it every day and it has been a huge help in getting me started.
