Rating Review
Customer Rating This is a great "mini" reference to the more common scales, chords, riffs and tunings in use by guitarists. The best thing about this book is how it puts things in perspective, and in situ as it were. It's going to be a great companion to my Guitarists Handbook (Ralph Denyer) – and it's smaller, so it'll go more places with me. Nice one...

Customer Rating Great book! It explains everything perfectly and anything can be easily and quickly looked up. Has a wide range of information (scales, chords, riffs, licks & much more).

Customer Rating This is an excellent book. It progresses well from open major chords through to suspended chords. It also shows you classic chords which are used in various well known songs. All chords have a snippet of interesting information underneath. Also it shows you the different scales including blues scales and pentatonics. There is a section on alternative tuning such as Open G and Open D which is really useful. I have bought a lot of different teach yourself guitar books and this is by far the best one. I would definitely recommend it.
