Description

In 2000 'superstar veterans’ U2 released their tenth album All That You Can’t Leave Behind. As they entered their third decade of recording they ditched the irony and extravagance and returned to their rock roots. This is a clever and crafted album and, though less of an adventure musically than previous efforts, the strong melodies and tunefulness of the songs shines through.

This matching folio includes their best anthem in years, Beautiful Day, as well as the hits Elevation and Wild Honey all arranged for voice and guitar in standard notation and guitar tab, including lyrics and chord symbols

Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating U2 is one of my favourite bands and the songs in this book are awesome.
However,if you start to play them, you'll get the feeling you're missing some things.
First of all, a lot of the Edge's guitar play in this book involves the use of effects such as delay and harmonizer. Now,even though you can simply buy effects like that in any music store, that doesn't mean you'll be able to make the music sound exactly as it should.
Second of all, you have to remember that U2 is great as a band and that Edge's guitar is just a part of that.So when you play these songs, you get the feeling that it all sounds so empty.
But at least there's some good riffs and solos in here that sound good,no matter how you play them. A must for every U2-fan.

Customer Rating THIS IS AMAZING! The whole album (except 'The ground beneath her feet') In one book! With guitar tabs and chords and a rhythm line which can be played on keyboard or piano with the guitar chords played! Its really good but quite hard. If you are a confident guitar player its WICKED!
