Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No.2 accurately and beautifully arranged for 2 Pianos. Composed in 1957 the premiere was given on 10th May in the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatoire, conducted by Nikolai Ansonov. The piece is dedicated to and was first played by Dmitri's son, Maxim Shostakovich.

A delightful arrangement which captures the spirit of the orchestral version. Unfortunately I don't have a second piano....yet!
