This series is pretty fantastic. Fun to use, concise and easily readable, it offers a welcome relief from text- and symbol-heavy alternatives, which strike fear into the heart of many a student, without compromising the material itself. There are plenty of books offering practice exercises that can be used alongside - basic exercises are included but more practice would be advisable before attempting the exam. With its light-hearted illustrations, fun quizzes and approachable format, this series opens up the subject in a friendly, non-threatening way. Students love these books and often go on and do more work than you asked them to do. Very highly recommended.

These theory books are aimed at children but I've found that pupils of all ages like to use them. They make it fun to learn with puzzles, crosswords etc but still managing to include all the topics needed for grades 1-5. A very reasonable price too!
