Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating This is simply a fine piece of music from one of the most interesting composers alive today. Like any good piece for a solo instrument, the wealth of textural possibilities is amply demonstrated but, as with all of Weir's work, there is also abundant humour, subtlety and detail. At first, it may seem elusive or weighed down in abstraction, but give the melodic and harmonic threads time to organise themselves in your head and you will be richly rewarded!
