I use the ST-757 for tuning a violin, makes it really quick and easy, plus the tuner is pocket-sized so is not much extra to carry.

My Dad uses this to tune timps and I use it for brass practice - holding notes steady etc. It's a little box with perfect pitch!

This tuner is good. My only niggle is that the display where it tells you which note you are on is quite small. Other than that, it fits the bill. I'd recommend it.
