Description

Since they burst on to the music scene in 1995, Ben Folds Five have received overwhelming critical acclaim, with their self-titled debut album featuring on the Top 10 Recommended Lists of many a music journalist. The band's intriguing sound, heavily piano-based while incorporating elements of punk and rock, the realism of the lyrics, the influence of Billy Joel, Joe Jackson and Elton John, all of these things added to the band's popularity.
Naked Baby Photos is a collection of rare and unreleased material as well as their more well-known songs arranged for live performance.
This volume features all the songs from Ben Folds Five plus a selection from Naked Baby Photos, transcribed for voice, bass guitar (TAB and standard notation), piano, drums and percussion.

Rating Review
Customer Rating As a dedicated Ben Folds Five fan, this review is totally and utterly biased. It's also totally true! This music book is a well made breakdown (and occasionally, approximation) of all the tracks from their first album, and a few from the second. The transcriptions are still complex- Hal Leonard aren't producing music for your Sunday School here- But this can be a disadvantage, since there are no playing tips written inside. Overall a great transcription book. Well worth it for the involved pianist, and that goes more so for the bassists and drummers.
