Customer Rating I am delighted with this book. Great selection of traditional carols and new songs, arranged with something to suit both modest and moderate ability. I wanted to buy a Christmas book which was accessible for the family to just pick up and enjoy at this time of year without too much practice - to play through satisfactorily first time round - and this one seems to fit the bill. Great book for sharing - high fun factor!

Customer Rating Fantastic book! Our family bought this book when it first came out and it has been used year after year after year after year!!! Every Christmas we dig it out and have a good play along. Contains all the great traditional carols alongside the well known Christmas songs. I would thoroughly recommend this book.

Customer Rating I've rated the songbook around average. I was quite excited to recieve it so I guess my expectations were perhaps set too high. It's fantastic to have some other songs that aren't traditional carols and there is a nice mix of both however I'm finding that the piano accompaniments don't really have that much substance to them... It's a little sparse on the texture. For the more traditional carols it's alright and if you're just getting the book out in the family home to sing along to then it's great but for any occassion larger than that I would not recommend this book.

Customer Rating Pretty good, but some of the chords aren't accurate, and most of us mortals can't hit top Gs and As, so these should have been transposed a bit. Some chords are slightly inaccurate. But mostly great!

Customer Rating This is a fantastic book, it has nearly every christmas song you could possibly want. I have used it with the school choir and they love it as it has all their favourite songs (whether the songs are from the '80s or not!) The layout is great and it is easy to use.

Customer Rating I wouldn't call it that. The range of carols is great. The book itself is impractical as it won't sit on the stand without the pages flipping back. Some of the carol arrangements are too simple. Sorry.

Customer Rating A good variety of Christmas music, carols and songs. Most would be able to be played by someone with reasonable piano knowledge. I only play occasionally at about grade 3 level and could play enough to find the playing enjoyable. My son who is more talented could play the majority after some practice. We both have yet to master "Saviour's Day " but that will be for another Christmas.

Customer Rating Has a lot of songs/carols. Useful if you just want a sing song or tha basic chords for the songs, but not good for 'proper' accompanying. Good for learners.

Customer Rating In one way, a good basic collection. In another, a mishmash of popular tunes (which are copyright) padded out with basic arrangements of traditional tunes (which aren't). The traditional tunes can be cheaper purchased elsewhere. Not all the of the copyright tunes have the melody in the piano accompaniment making them practically useless unless for amateur purposes.

Customer Rating I thought it was a really good mixture of songs and carols, and of an intermediate standard of playing. My only criticism would be that most of the songs are written at far too high a pitch for ladies to sing along to. Some go as high as top G and A. As I accompany a Christmas sing-a-long, some of the songs had to be abandoned. therwise a great book.
