Latifa’s first instrument lessons were on the clarinet at the age of 9, and as a result, joined her school orchestra. In her early teens, she had a taste of Rock ‘n Roll and took up electric guitar lessons, then later on switched to bass, as she found herself talking over guitar solos and listening intensely to bass lines - much to the annoyance of her husband! Latifa also has previous experience of working for Music World, Southampton.
Latifa’s musical interests are primarily rock and metal, but she’ll give anything a listen….. just check her iPod for evidence! She is also taking Belly Dance lessons, loves photography and is often happily snapping away at live gigs.
