Darryl ‘D’ Farlam

Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Amplification, Home Recording & Guitar Set Up

Expertise: Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Amplification, Writing, Recording and Performing Techniques.
D has been playing guitar for 29 years and plays a wide range of styles but his main love is rock. He has played with many bands over the years in and around London and the UK, playing both covers and original material. D has played with ex-Alice Cooper guitarist Pete Friesen and his favourite all time band are Simple Minds and can always be found chatting with Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill backstage after a show. D fronts his own band ‘Daphne Blue’ being the lead singer and guitarist. Writing and recording is Darryl’s passion and in his spare time he records his own material and also writes for other artists (friends).D has had much experience with advising customers and ensures they leave with the correct item. He has never let a customer settle, if they’re unhappy he will do his utmost to find the perfect product.


Glen Thomas

Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Ukulele, Amplification

Expertise: Stringed instruments, Amplification.
Glen has been playing for nine years, and is familiar with a range of musical styles on a variety of stringed instruments. He is skilled in assessing a customer's needs and finding them their perfect instrument. Glen has been in many bands over the years giving him knowledge of not just his specialist instruments but across the board. Glen also fronts his own folk band ‘The Nameless Three’. He’s a charming young lad who is always willing to help customers and ensures they leave the shop with a smile!


Chloe Chetta

Violin, Sheet Music, Accessories

Expertise: Violin and Sheet Music.
After a long break from the Violin and since joining the team she has started learning from the Suzuki Method and started taking her ABRSM Examinations. Chloe is also very keen to advise adults and children alike who are interested in learning or restarting any instrument. Although Chloe’s instrument of choice is violin she has a broad knowledge of every area in the store. Chloe has a very welcoming and friendly approach with customers and can help with just about anything.


Richard Crockford

Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Amplification, Home Recording & Guitar Set Up, Piano & Keyboards

Expertise: Piano, Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Amplification, Writing, Recording.
Richard’s product knowledge of all things guitar, amps, piano and keyboards is as extensive as they come. There is probably nothing Richard won’t be able to help you with. Richard has been playing guitar for over 20 years. Aside from helping our customers in store, he is also a member of the 90’s band ‘Carter USM’ and has toured all over the UK AND the world. Richard pulls out all the stops when it comes to customer service with his smiley approach.


Lauren Cooke

Clarinet, Piano and Sheet Music

Expertise: Clarinet and Sheet Music.
Lauren has played clarinet for 6 years and is a self taught pianist. Lauren is now taking her piano playing one step further and has started going through her grades. Aside from that she has also started to teach herself guitar. Lauren has a very friendly and warm approach towards customers and her extensive knowledge of all areas in store means you will always leave happy and with exactly what you came in for.
