Location/History

We are located in the Cathedral City of Exeter, the cultural capital of the Southwest. Exeter has an inspiring historical background which is blended with modern architectural buildings and sculptures. We are based in Sidwell Street which is close to the vibrant Princesshay Shopping Centre and the old Roman West Gate.

Limited stay parking is available immediately outside of our store, however at busier times it is recommended that the Bus Station (1min walk) or King William Street car park (3 min walk) is convenient.

Here at Musicroom Exeter we pride ourselves on having the largest selection of printed music in the southwest. Not only for a wide range of musical instruments, but also for varied musical tastes covering everything from rock and pop to jazz and blues, from the contemporary to the classical.

We are an approved musical instrument dealer for several of the largest and best suppliers, including Fender, Yamaha and Pearl. We stock a vast range of Guitars ( Electric, Bass, Acoustic and Classical), Drums, Brass, Woodwind, Folk and Classical Stringed instruments catering for musicians of all abilities.

We also stock an impressive selection of tutorial DVDs which are an effective visual aid for either beginners who are learning a new instrument or intermediate to advanced players looking to perfect new styles and techniques.
