The late Gerard Hoffnung was an artist, cartoonist, musician and humourist, whose brilliant and absurd drawings, mostly on a musical theme, have delighted music lovers throughout the world. His humour is kindly and gentle and is probably why he remains popular more than forty years after his death. In this fantastic book of cartoons, he caricatures all the instruments and players of an orchestra, so there will something close to the heart of all musicians.
