Garwood Whaley: Musical Studies For The Intermediate Snare Drummer

A collection of musical studies for the intermediate snare drummer, the purpose of which is to increase technical ability and develop musicianship. The collection is divided into two sections. Both are saturated with dynamic markings in order to cultivate expressive playing, but the first is more more singularly occupied with this role, containing little other technical challenge. The second section continues to build musicality, but also technical ability through the extensive use of flams, drags and rolls.
