Antonin Dvorak: Sonatina in G Op.100

The little Sonatina In G for violin and piano, Op. 100 is sometimes called the Indian Lament Sonatina may well be the most obscure of Dvorak's works, yet it is a charming piece that deserves better than a relegation to the learning books of young violinists. Sonatina In G was composed in the year 1893 and is in four movements. The piece has a wistfulness, a sudden brightening and then softening of mood making it a wonderful work to be played and enjoyed.
