This fun new nativity musical from Sheila Wilson (Hosanna Rock!, Rock around the Flock!) has the wise men and Herod rushing to see who can crack the Christmas code (a verse from Isaiah, a star in the sky) first, to find the promised baby King in the stable.
Its six songs (including reprise) are catchy, great fun, and easy to learn, for key stages 1 and 2 plus optional extras (such as extra harmonies) for KS2.
The title song and reprise have optional hand-jives and kazoos; Gabriel and Mary share the second song; the wise men’s song is finger-clickin’ good; Mary’s lullaby is beautiful; and the Angels song to the shepherds is first peaceful then ‘full-on’ gospel! Altogether, a wonderful Christmas show, which children, teachers and parents will all love.
