This is an elegant and accessible SATB arrangement of the beautiful Con mores, la mi madre by the Spanish renaissance composer Juan de Anchieta. Underpinned by a flowing guitar accompaniment (optional), Chilcott's arrangement is rhythmically interesting and melodious, and the text may be sung in either Spanish or English. An ideal concert work for choirs looking for something a little different.
