An easy to play instrument that is an ideal choice for the beginner. The most important part of playing a musical instrument is witnessing the 'sparkle' in the eyes of young musicians as they achieve their first note. The unique TJ10X MkII bore dimension combined with a specially researched head-joint and lip plate allows students to blow their first note much easier and therefore they can progress quickly. Trevor J James flutes are designed and researched in close collaboration with flute players and Teachers.

The advanced headjoint features make this model very easy and free blowing with double skin yellow pads, worked carefully to give an accurate airtight seal
Using felts instead of cork under the tail arms creates a very quiet mechanism
Triple plating: Copper, Silver and Silver (silver does not adhere well on nickel but affixes excellently to copper)
All-in-one 'Prolite' case with shoulder strap and handle
Fine care and attention to the finishing of all key work
Greater accuracy and tightness of all fitting of the key assembly - Gives a secure and positive feel to the student.
New non scratch plastic cleaning rod
Finger grooves on inside of case - Assists player taking flute out of the case without touching the mechanism
