Saint-Saen’s Le Carnaval des Animaux (Carnival of the Animals) is a set of orchestral character pieces, each of which is meant to describe a particular animal, usually by mimicking the sounds it makes or characterising the way it moves or carries itself. These pieces include the famous Le Cygne (The Swan), with its unparalleled beautiful melody, played on the cello.

This fantastic work has been arranged for Solo Piano by Irene Patay and will provide you with great fun as you play through these characteristic and memorable melodies.
