Arranged by Steve Sykes for Brass Band. It's quite true that Ellington composed few of his biggest hits - 'Take the A Train,' 'Caravan,' 'Creole Love Call,' 'Lush Life,' 'Sophisticated Lady,' to name several. Many of the melodic ideas came from band members. Juan Tizol, the valve trombonist and a very well-trained musician with a few compositions to his credit wrote one of the most famous pieces, 'Caravan', with help from Ellington.
