King is certainly the most influential blues guitarist in history. His recording career began in 1949 and to this day he continues to tour the world performing over 250 nights a year. He laid the groundwork for a generation of younger guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, and Michael Bloomfield who were greatly influenced by his distinctive sound.
Blues Master II is a continuation of the Blues Master series which documents the style and technique of B.B. King.
